Idyllic cottage, charming and very homely.

This is the loveliest cottage in the world! We were so lucky to be the first guests to stay here and can safely say we will be booking our return very soon. The cottage has a wonderful cosy feeling and we couldn’t stop WOWing at every turn. The library is the star of the show! The decor is incredibly tasteful yet warm and homely, with large spacious rooms and inviting fireplaces in the lounge and kitchen. We had absolutely everything we needed and Lulu couldn’t have been a more welcoming host.
The bed was super comfy and the bathrooms are top-end with beautiful views over the countryside. The lovely enclosed garden has been thoughtfully designed and will be a gorgeous place to enjoy the sunshine in the summer - but this will be a stunning place to stay any time of year.
The location is excellent for walking, with dozens of nearby hiking trails and a number of excellent food pubs within an hour’s walk - there is a circular route to the Pheasant which is highly recommended. From the house there are beautiful views of both Beeston and Peckforton Castles - the sunsets are insane (weather permitting) and it was magical to see the stars at night due to the lack of light pollution.
Lulu has thought of every detail and worked so hard to create this little piece of heaven. We couldn’t recommend a stay here high highly enough - though I almost don’t want to share this review so you all don’t book it up!
