The Stonemasons Inn

Rooms were very low beams which I kept banging my head on in the night. No breakfast available despite sign outside saying breakfast available from 9am.

Everything as expected, clean and good location

Tv could have been a little bigger

A beautiful welcome. Very friendly. We had travelled (myself and my son) from Wales to attend a wedding. We arrived a little earlier and was allowed to check in on this occasion. We felt relaxed and at home from the moment we arrived - a lovely woman made everything possible for us. Rooms were traditional as the building, full of character. The full english breakfast was the best I have had in a long time. Family and friends of the wedding family also stayed and highly praised their experience. We would all return. We loved the Stonemasons Arms - it felt like a friendly welcoming place, for everyone. Thank you all at the Stonemasons Inn. x Highly Recommend.

Taxi option is limited in this area. This is not a reflection of the Stonemasons Inn but of the area. The staff in the Stonemasons Inn very kindly offered a way of helping.

The rooms were large and the beds comfy. We liked the quirky-ness of the building - lots of low ceilings! We had dinner in the evening and all the food was excellent.

Unfortunately, we were told that they are currently not serving breakfast, and only once we asked in the evening. This meant having to go out and get food to eat in the room early in the morning before a very busy day. The amenities in the room were very basic (no mini-fridge, dressing table or easily accessible mirror). The shower stopped working completely on the second day. The boiler in the room (Mrs Smiths) was very noisy.
