This is a pleasant place with for a short stay. Although it's on a busy street in Thamel, the double glazed windows kept out the noise at night. The location is great for cafes, bars, shops -- everything in Thamel. Sarita who helps manage the apartment was really helpful and so was the bartender at Hotel Pala.
This is not 2 bedrooms, as the listing stated when I booked it. It is one room partially divided by a see-through glass wall with a bed on one side and a couch on the other. The couch is not a sofa bed (although possible to sleep on if you are small) and we had to ask twice for bedding -- and only got one sheet. Contrary to the listing when I booked it, the apartment does not have a kitchen that is useful for cooking. The kitchen is a tiny room across a public stair landing with a microwave and a refrigerator -- not even a way to make coffee or boil water. The shower didn't provide hot water, only lukewarm. Another thing the listing didn't disclose -- the apartment is 4 floors up with no elevator. The tv was impossible to figure out. Hopefully, the listing will be be amended for accuracy and the other problems will be fixed.
