The cottage is beautifully maintained and holds everything you could need. Caroline met us on our arrival and gave us the cottage key, plus zapper to operate the electric gate. Provisions were provided to make hot drinks - plus a 'welcome' bottle of wine! She was very helpful, showed us how everything worked and both she and Steve gave us additional information on the immediate area from their local knowledge.
No complaints at all. For the money charged the facilities were excellent - with super comfy beds!

A beautiful and comfortable property right in the middle of Thornton, close to many attractions and wonderful towns: Haworth, Skipton, Ilkley, York. The Bronte birthplace is a 5-minute drive and the Bronte parsonage museum is also very close. Green fields around where one can walk and enjoy the scenery.
Caroline and Steve are fantastic hosts! On the last evening we had problems with our car on the motorway, so we had to wait for the evacuator and returned at around 4 at night. Next morning we had to check out, but our hosts were very sympathetic, allowed us to check out several hours later than planned, and offered help with driving my husband to the car hire place. They really helped us out! Thank you so much! Caroline is warm and friendly, she told us about interesting places to see and where to eat. And as we share a love of gardening, Caroline showed me her beautiful plants.
The place itself is so well-designed and very clean. The beds and mattresses are very comfortable. We both slept very well. The kitchen is well-equipped. We loved the welcome bottle of wine!
We will definitely return and will recommend the South view farm cottages to others.
Everything was great!
(Perhaps a little shelf in the bathroom can be added for creams and stuff.)

The property is outstanding in every way. It is a definite 10, could not be faulted at all and the host was very welcoming, friendly and informative. Will look to stay again.
