The apartment was perfect for our group of 5 adults, with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It’s very clean and well-maintained. It’s also incredibly quiet for a city building - outdoor noises were minimal, and we never heard the neighbors. Peter and Terri were friendly and helpful. It’s an easy walk to the Shaw/Howard yellow and green line on the metro, and there are a couple of convenient bus lines nearby.
One important thing to know about the location is that it’s easily accessible to downtown and the Union Station area, but it’s not convenient to places along the northwest stretch of the Red line. If your time in Washington is focused on that area (zoo, National Cathedral, upper Connecticut Ave. area). Travel to that part of town takes quite awhile via either transit or rideshare. This is obviously no reflection at all on the apartment or the owners, but might be useful information to travelers.

Very good value considering amount of space (enough for 6-8 people), amenities, location. The neighborhood is beautiful with character and feels safe. The place is spotless and updated with off-street parking, W/D. Very comfortable beds and couches.
Slightly difficult to maneuver a full size SUV into the parking, not a big deal.
