We absolutely loved our stay! The property is beautiful, modern and in such a lovely, peaceful area. What really made it exceptional though was the staff. The property manager kept in contact before and throughout our stay and was so helpful with our trip, including connecting us with a wonderful driver. The housekeepers were also amazing and went above and beyond — they even untangled my necklace for me without me asking, which was honestly so sweet!
The location was perfect for us as we were attending a wedding at Villa Vedas and were able to walk there. We also loved checking out Pigstone Beach Bar and Ocean Breeze — the food was amazing. Thank you so much for all the extra effort that went into making our stay so special. We already miss it!

This is the best place to stay in Bali. It’s not just a villa, but a real home, thoughtfully designed down to the smallest details and fully equipped with everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen, a comfortable and practical workspace, a cozy bathroom, and a lovely terrace. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet, yet it’s only a short ride to the buzz of Canggu (about 20–30 minutes by scooter). There’s also a great surfing spot nearby in Kedungu (for beginners very easy) - special thanks to the coach Sila.
The Makai team is always ready to help with any questions and can recommend great places, services, and delivery options. You guys are the best! We’ll definitely be back next year!

Quiet location, great if you are a digital nomad ( nice standing desk + office chair ), or couple to unwind
