Die Lage und die Ausstattung waren sehr gut. Sehr schöne Aussicht. Wir haben eigene Fahrräder mitgenommen und das war die perfekte Entscheidung. Es gab auch auf der Promenade einen Spielplatz und Hüpfburgen für Kinder, auch weiter in Trouville viel Entertainment für Kinder alles schön mit dem Fahrrad erreichbar.
Die Schlafzimmer sind etwas eng

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour, à deux pas de la mer. L'appartement est très propre avec une jolie terrasse face à la mer.

The location is wonderful - less than 100m from a lovely sandy beach. The sea view from our balcony was spectacular.
The apartment is nicely furnished and well equipped but is let down by too many negatives to allow a better rating - see later.
Benerville-sur-Mer is a quiet resort next to Deauville but is less crowded and far less pretentious.
Where to start?
Far too many codes. On arrival you have to use a code to raise the barrier. Then park outside the front of building in narrow road while you use another code to get into the building. Go up stairs or in lift to 1st floor, find the apartment and use yet another code to open a key box to get the apartment key and then get inside to find a remote control to enable entry to the underground garage, so that you can park in a designated space, which hopefully has not been taken or partially used by someone else to store their bikes. Finally, you can now start to unload the car.
However from here you have a labyrinthine corridor with numerous changes of direction before reaching the lift to take you back to the 1st floor.
The apartment. Good view, nicely furnished, close to beach, well equipped BUT no instructions whatsoever on how to use any appliances - microwave, micro-oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine, TV, electric towel rail etc. All trial and error and never did get TV to work.
No note of welcome from owner/agent or any information on where to find nearest bakery, supermarket or any restaurant recommendations or information on local attractions etc.
No first aid kit or instructions on what to do or where to go in the event of a fire. Didn't even see any fire alarm or sprinkler system.
No instructions on where to take garbage or whether it needs sorting.
Bathroom is designed for style rather than function. Over-ornate stone his & her basins set too high and too far away from edge off unit to allow use without major spillage. Only able to use one basin as one on right obscured by cleaning and clothes drying equipment. Lighting is dreadful.
Main bedroom. Bed comfortable but too hot due to plastic mattress protector (understandable). Window shutter winding handle broken but was able to effect a temporary repair with a hair-clip.
