Le fait que cet hôtel soit à Shamian.
Ma chambre donnait sur la rue très bruyante avec des gens qui criaient dehors à 2 ou 3 heures du matin alors que j’avais demandé une chambre calme, ce que j’avais eu la dernière fois.

Excellent location in Shamian and close to riverfront, Enning Rd, shopping, restaurants and metro. Friendly, helpful staff. Modern decor. Generally quiet and clean. Comfortable bed, good wifi, hot shower, effective block-out blinds. Room serviced daily and soft fluffy towels changed. Breakfast available though I didn't try it. I'd stay there again.
All pretty good really. While there is lots to see in the Shamian area, it is a little distant from other areas of interest like the Canton Tower and Yuexiu Park. There are good metro and bus connections but it takes time. While some rooms face a busy road to the north, there was surprisingly little road noise but ear plugs were supplied if needed. One night I could smell cigarette smoke coming into my room even though the hotel is non-smoking. Some electrical work was done one night which caused issues but it was a one-off.
