The house has a wonderfully quirky, modern design and feels really thoughtfully put together. The beautiful balcony with exceptional views was a real highlight — perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evening.
Inside, everything was incredibly well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus a dishwasher and washing machine which made life so much easier. A baby cot was provided, along with a vacuum, which was ideal for travelling with little ones.
A few small things would have improved our stay. It would have been helpful to have a sheet provided for the cot mattress, and although there was a sofa bed available, additional bedding stored in the wardrobe would have made it easier to use if needed.
We also struggled quite a lot with mosquitoes due to the surrounding fields. Some mosquito plug‑ins or candles would be a great addition for future guests.
Our main negative was the communication with the accommodation owner. Unfortunately, responses were not very quick, and after a long morning of travelling with two children, we were left waiting for a reply by phone and email to access the property, which was stressful. We also contacted the owner through the Booking.com message portal to ask for the WiFi password but never received a reply. A small board or handbook with essential information like this would be really helpful.
We were reminded about the €400 damage deposit, which was listed in the booking policy. We paid this in cash and were told it would be returned at the end of our stay. The day before leaving, we asked about the deposit and were told an inspection needed to be done on departure. As we had to leave at 6am for the airport, the owner preferred not to inspect the evening before and said he would return the deposit via bank transfer. We cleaned thoroughly — kitchen, fridge, outdoor furniture, bins emptied, towels gathered, and all rooms hoovered — but later received a disappointing message saying the apartment had been left “filthy" and had taken him 2 hours to clean. We had accidentally left a few cups in the dishwasher and we were told pen marks were on one piece of bedding, which we apologised for. Although we did receive our full deposit back, the message left a negative end to our holiday and I was left feeling insulted.

Very modern apartment, very clean, good quiet location and amazing views.
WiFi signal very poor in lounge area and could do with a fan as when we stayed it was very hot.

Le Propriétaire demande de faire le ménage alors qu'il comptabilise des frais de ménage de 70euros. IL ne met pas à disposition de ventilateur(s) prétextant que les voyageurs précédents l'ont cassé, alors que nous sommes en pleine canicule de 35 degrés et pas de climatisation. Absolument désagréable au check-out nous méprisant sans vergogne alors que nous rendons un appartement propre et sans aucun dégâts, il va même jusqu'à faire tordre la serpillère pour humilier le client, c'est une honte absolue! Je sais d'avance qu'il nous répondra en niant. En revanche le monsieur qui a procédé à notre accueil le premier jour était très agréable.
