The location was very convenient, along a main artery with conveniences (food, stores) nearby within walking distance.
There is also security on site for access to the compound.
While the area is a busy, high-traffic one, the accommodations were reasonably quiet, and the host was very accommodating (facilitating payment, for example).
Once I found the place (very unassuming location, check-in process was a bit unusual), then everything else fell in place.
The initial contact for check-in was a bit sketchy (as a new visitor), but once proper contact was made, it made sense.
I encourage guests to contact the host on arrival (from airport, for example) to smooth out the process for less stress and unnecessary anxiety.

We needed a one night stay over in Mumbai. This apartment fitted that need well, but would not have been ideal for a longer stay. It is roomy, there is a decent lift to take you to your floor, and there is a security person on at the gate. There are good restaurants around and shops to get supplies. It is a good place to stay for the airport.
The rooms were clean but dull and with little furniture or facilities.
The bathrooms were small, old looking and the hot water tank was small if two people need to shower.

I stayed for 4 nights. The lift broke down on the first day and since the flat is on the 8th floor I had to use the stairs at least 4 times. There was no running water on day 3. The facilities were pretty basic for the price.
