This apartment is stunning - the hosts have clearly put a lot of time & effort in to renovating the property and it shows as I can't think of anything that they've overlooked. Comfy beds, quality fixtures & fittings, good facilities (e.g. coffee machine, pots, pans etc..), wifi was quick & reliable
Excellent location for exploring Normandy and both close to a bigger town in St Lo but has enough locally (supermarket, Boulangerie etc..) to get to if you need to stock up or you run short.
One of the best places we've stayed in a long time & such good value for money. We'd definitely stay here again if we ever return to Normandy
The bells!! The gite is directly over the road from a church. Be prepared for a 7am wake up call that gives the impression that they're sounding the start of the apocalypse. It goes through a similar routine at 7pm but doesn't sound at all from then until 7am. You certainly don't need to set an alarm (although my family slept through it every day until the last 2 days so maybe it was just me).
A very small gripe but it may help the people staying in the gite if the welcome pack was written in several languages

l'ensemble du logement est très bien équipé et avec du très bon goût et de très bonne qualité.
il manque un éclairage d'ambiance dans le salon (pour jouer aux jeux de société par exemple).
nous n'avons pas trouvé de pot pour l'eau sur table.
