A nice clean flat that sits above the owners house. It has a separate entrance and is completely self-contained. There was no noise from the owner’s flat downstairs. The accommodation was comfortable and the facilities were good.
Malhadais is a bit outside Odeceixe and up a very steep hill. If you’re walking the Fisherman’s Way then it’s a 4km trek from the coast to the bridge over the river to Odeceixe. It’s hot and not very fun. If you’re staying at this apartment, there is then a further 1-1.5km up a very steep hill to get to Malhadais. If I’d known this I would have taken a taxi from the river mouth. Also note that Apple Maps is terrible for locating the property unless you use the GPS coordinates - otherwise it sends you to the wrong place. There aren’t many food options nearby unless you walk down the hill to Odeceixe proper.
