Quite nice apartment but the management of the property could be better

The apartment looks modern and is well presented. The design and finish are genuinely nice, and on first impression it feels like a quality place.

The condition didn’t match the look. The shower cabin leaked, so the bathroom floor was flooded after every shower. The bathroom sink was blocked and stayed that way, which made it unpleasant to use. Some of the basics were broken, like the bottle opener, and several wardrobes were taken up by the owner’s empty boxes - storage space that should have been available to guests. The bigger problem was the management. The owner had no spare set of keys, and the doors close automatically. We got locked out and had to pay 50 euro for someone to come and open the door - neither of our contacts had keys themselves. We were also told only a day before arrival about a 50 euro fee for check-in after 7pm, and that the owner simply won’t let you in until you pay it. This isn’t stated clearly when booking; it’s buried in the booking questions, which is confusing at best. Overall, things that are normally included in a stay were charged as extras here, and it felt disorganised rather than professional. At checkout, the owner insisted on being present and contacted us the day before to confirm the exact time - then two minutes before that time, when we asked where he was, he said he wasn’t coming because of traffic. That summed up the whole experience. The apartment has potential, but the maintenance issues and the way guests are handled made the stay frustrating and more expensive than it should have been.

Wonderful stay in a brand-new, beautiful apartment with high ceilings and a balcony!

Excellent stay in Naples! The apartment is brand-new, very beautiful, and tastefully furnished—spotless, with a comfortable bed, strong AC, and a fully equipped kitchen. It has high ceilings and a lovely balcony. Note there’s no elevator, so you’ll need to take the stairs. The location is fantastic: a safe, quiet street just a short walk to main sights, cafés, and museums. The host was responsive and check-in/out was smooth. Highly recommended—10/10!
