Definitely reccomend

It was very close to the station, the host was super nice and made sure everything was okay when I arrived with information about what to do in the area, and the place was super clean and nice. Would stay here next time

The station is just a bit close so you can here trains sometimes, but they provide you with ear plugs if you need them

Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

It was a unique experience to live alongside not one, but 2 railways! We knew what to expect, but surprisingly, it didn’t even bother me (as a light sleeper) at all. The neighborhood was also very quiet and the place was fairly near to Odawara station, Lawsons, restos. There’s a burger place a minute away and it’s sooo good! The hosts were also very responsive and friendly. Never had a hard time checking in and out, or getting answers to even very trivial questions.

We stayed when it was late spring and it was still very cold. We never used the ACs. We loved the place but it could really use more of heating. The cold was very uncomfortable for the first 2-3 nights. Thankfully, the weather was warmer for the rest of our stay.

Sleazy property manager

It is close to the station and you get the entire place to yourself. Honestly I was going to give this place a nicer review until I checked my bank account and saw that they charged me almost double what I thought it was going to cost.

My biggest issue with this property is that they automatically charged me a ¥10,000 cleaning fee on top of the one night stay??? This was very unexpected and a little sleazy in my opinion. I would expect something like this from Airbnb but not Booking.com. They have a ton of rules about keeping it clean which I followed, and we were only there for one night, so the place did not get dirty. I tried to message booking.com support to contest this but I haven't gotten a response in over a week. Other small issues include only one mirror in the property which is not near the bathroom, so getting ready in the morning is a little difficult. And being right next to the station means you will hear a lot of trains rolling by.
