Whg.4/Fips: Prima Lage abseits lauter Strassen nahe an Altstadt und fussläufig zu Sesselbahn, Seilbahn, Bahnhof, mit geräumigem Wohn- und Schlafzimmer und Balkon zum Karwendel. Angenehmes Bett.
Ruhe: Auf der Baustelle (Dämmung und Aufstockung des Daches beim Haus südlich gegenüber) wurde während meines Aufenthalts 9/2026 am Wochenende und Wochenanfang nicht gearbeitet, von daher gab es keine Beeinträchtigung. Von anderen Bewohnern oder Nachbarn war kaum etwas zu hören.
Sehr kleine Räume mit WC bzw. Dusche, besonders die Duschkabine engt ein und nimmt viel Platz im Raum. Vielleicht lieber nur ein Duschvorhang? Kleinere Kissen fürs Bett zur Auswahl wären nett. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist praktisch, aber nicht besonders heimelig. Wenn jemand im Treppenhaus direkt nebenan Türen öffnet, war das manchmal erschreckend klar zu hören, als wäre es in der Ferienwohnung selbst, aber daran gewöhnt man sich schnell und es war nicht oft.

El departamento en general es muy agradable y lo que más nos gustó fue la vista desde el balcon hacia las montañas. También la ubicación, muy cerca del centro de Mittenwald.
La mesa para comer en la cocina pudo haber sido un poco más grande. Para dos personas fue muy justa.

Nice apartment with a good-sized double bedroom. The kitchenette is well equipped with lots of plates and nice glasses. The highlight is the balcony with a spectacular view and a couple of comfy chairs. The location is perfect. Just 200m to a large supermarket and 300m to the Altstadt. The apartment is 10 out of ten.
The problem is payment as this place doesn't work with credit cards. So after the booking is confirmed on Booking.com, we received a demand for payment by bank transfer to 'confirm the booking'. This is expensive and difficult unless you have a euro account in the EU or some clever card.
Communication is complicated as the letting agent uses a computer system that doesn't work elegantly with the Booking.com system.
There is a light in the hallway between the bedroom and bathroom that is motion activated and you can't switch it off. It's far too bright for everyone in the middle of the night. Recommend to guests - take the light bulb out!
