House is private, with enough privacy that people won’t wonder nearby but town is only a 10 minute drive away. Rooms are well stocked with towels and pillows, bathroom with utilities too, living room games were an added bonus
Only disadvantage we had (our fault!) was that half of our party bought USB chargers due to being used to USB plug sockets. The owners weren’t to blame for this, however it did provide a challenge when finding a plug head to use temporarily for charging appliances

Location is lovely just what you would expect from a cottage in the lakes.

Everything in this property is first class - hosts have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable. The location, the property itself, amenities - and fact it’s dog friendly - all combine to make it a superb choice for our stay.

Very comfortable accommodation & spacious, well equipped kitchen and sundries. Huge outdoor tranquil gardens.
It was quite a cold weekend stay, and the heating was not particularly warm.
One of bathrooms heater did not work at all, and was quite cold before & after a shower. One of the bedrooms heating did not work at all, although a convector heater was supplied. Log burner in lounge was available for use, but didn't fancy using it, as by the time we got in after a day out, did not not want to go to bed with it still alight. Showers were not particularly hot & kept going cold.
