Newer hotel with good working A/C, clean room and bathroom. There is security, but no sign for the hotel. Just so you know, just pull in where GPS takes you and the security comes out to get you-who were very nice by the way. They helped me with my luggage which I greatly appreciated.
I specifically stayed because the very first review stated the front desk spoke English(as well as the listing). That wasn't the case and it resulted in me getting overcharged by 20,000F. Then at breakfast I ordered coffee with cream, he brought it, but with no hot water and I couldn't find him get some, so I just made it in the room after breakfast. Also while eating the chair broke and I fell out of it-no I'm not obese, the chair wasn't put together very well. I didn't even finish eating breakfast, I just left. What I had of breakfast was good. The croissant and pineapple juice were fresh and what I ate of the omelet was good. I think it has potential, but don't advertise it as a bilingual property when it's not a bilingual speaker available at all times. Also this is a residential area. My view out the window was straight into a families apartment with a crying infant that sounded like it was in the room with me without background noise in the room. It's nowhere near the tourist attractions or where the tours are-just FYI. Cocody is a large city and none of the sites that advise you to stay in Cocody clarify that or tell you what area to stay in.
