This was a new experience for us so we were unprepared for the level of noise we found the first 2 nights of our stay. It was really bad. So much so that I had to go outside at 3:30 in the morning to yell at 2 guts fighting right outside our window. This is no reflection on the owner but this was not cool. After Saturday night it quieted down and was fine. We found Brooklyn in general to be confusing but had a great time in Manhattan.

Generally clean and organized. I gave 4 stars on the cleanly because not the pristine cleanliness of some other stays. For example cookware mostly scratched older Teflon pans. Floors appeared clean but may not have been recently mopped. Bedroom window air conditioner was important and very effective! Coffee maker new with some ground coffee available.I really appreciate d this as we got in too tired to go shopping. Plus tea bags sugar and powdered creamer were available.A few helpful items in bathroom medicine cabinet.

Pros:1. You can get to trains pretty easy 2. The couch can turn into bed3. The shower is strongCons:1. The heat was turned on wayyy to high and there’s no way to adjust it2. The bathroom had a heat pipe right next to the toilet which if you didn’t know or wasn’t careful would have suffered a 3rd degree burn so it is a huge hazard, also considering it is literally right next to toilet3. The show gel provided was less than 2 had a price tag on it, that is so cheap 4. There is no working smoke detector which is a violation of any housing code and is a fire hazard5. The place just looks really worn out and no effort was ever put into making it clean and nice6. We found other people’s hair in our bed Overall it was sufficient for what it was but not worth the price, considering how little effort was put in for already pretty beat up living conditions.
