The rooms were very clean! The mattresses nice and form (medium density foam I think). The sheets and towels very clean too.
No mattress protector though.
The location was NOT as indicated in the map; nonin city centre but 3km out of the city centre along the road to Timau.

The host was quite warm and receptive. I arrived at night, extremely tired from driving hundreds of kilometres and just wanted to jump into the shower, eat and sleep.
The host made me some very yummy dinner at my request - wali wa pojo, Pwani style. I enjoyed it with my eyes half-closed ๐
She was also receptive to me checking out at noon instead of 11 am. The only thing is, I couldn't even check out as agreed, since I loved the place too much - so I actually extended my stay by an extra night! ๐
The host and her colleague pampered me for the second day/night as well, making me some yummy githeri that I was craving for, and doing their best to make me comfortable. I also got to sleep and sleep and sleep some more without any disturbance - what I really needed.
The bed is comfy, so your body actually gets to rest. The hot shower, WiFi and TV work well, too. The beddings and towels are also clean. The room has ample space as well, so you don't feel suffocated.
If you are looking for a quiet, serene, chill place to visit and decompress in/at/from - this is the perfect place! It's away from the loud noises at the main road, and has a "farm" feel. I really enjoyed hearing some cocks crow at 3 am - haven't had that experience in forever! ๐ The birds singing outside from the trees were also welcome entertainment.
Will definitely stay here again when I grace Nanyuki and its environs. Real value for money! โค๏ธ
I got a bit lost trying to find the place - the location Pin decided to take me round and round... But the host finally guided me over the phone, and I arrived safely.
