* Air conditioning in every room * Very clean * New and clean kitchen appliances * Great location, close to the beach and city centre * Good-quality furniture for a rental property

Two bigger issues: * A strong drain smell appeared in one of the toilets on the fourth day. * The air conditioning in the living room doesn’t cool the room at all; it just blows warm air. Three smaller issues: * No salt, pepper, olive oil, bin bags, tea, coffee, or other basic things you would expect to find when renting an apartment. * No proper kitchen knife; all the knives are dull. * No proper communication with the host, just a series of automated scheduled messages. Overall, I probably wouldn’t have mentioned the smaller issues at all, but on the last day I received a message from the host asking how my stay was, so I mentioned the problem with the drain. It wasn’t acknowledged at all. Instead, I received another automated message asking me to give them a 10/exceptional score for the stay, wash the dishes, and take out the bin bags. With all the issues above, I don’t think this place deserves a good score. An “exceptional” stay should include something above and beyond simply providing a place to sleep. Considering that we were checking in at 10 pm, which we had told the host about in advance at their request, an exceptional place would, in my opinion, provide at least some basic ingredients for breakfast. Instead, we found a clean but absolutely empty place — not even salt and pepper in the kitchen. I’ve honestly never seen a rental apartment that was so completely empty of basic supplies. I can’t say that this stay was exceptional, or even particularly good, considering the drain issue, the broken air conditioning in the living room, and the more than €150-per-night price.

We were with a baby. Failed to deliver baby cot on the first day.has It arrived on the next day only. So we’ve had a nightmare sleeping first night
