Such a beautiful property, everything is clean and properly taken care of. The pool was our favourite part. Clean and warm, so cooling after a long day and the best way to start the day. Breakfast was excellent! All the staff is so helpful and lovely. Bed is comfortable and AC worked well. Breakfast on the terrace was relaxing and delicious. Nothing negative to say. Easy walking distance to centre of Ubud and the street market. Mini mart close by if you need anything.

You can tell that the villas are new. Beautifully designed. The breakfast was delicious and a great amount of food. The location was fantastic too. This was our first time in Ubud. It definitely helped that we hired a scooter for a few days. There was a scooter hire right at our entrance.
This is a strange thing to not like, but the pool water was really cold. Possibly because there wasn’t enough sun, in September?

The villas are very spacious. Lovely bathroom with freestanding bath. Private pool which is well-sized. Air con was great. Full stay was faultless. The staff are so kind and helpful.

Here’s a polished, warm 5-star style review for Mayaloka Villas:
We had the most amazing stay at Mayaloka Villas in Ubud and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough!
The location is fantastic — very central and within easy walking distance of plenty of lovely bars and restaurants. It’s also around a 25-minute walk to the Monkey Forest, which was really convenient.
The staff were absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly and helpful, and they really made us feel at home.
Our villa was stunning — genuinely the nicest place we’ve ever stayed! It was spacious, beautifully clean and incredibly comfortable, with our own private pool which was an amazing bonus.
We also loved having breakfast brought directly to our room each morning. It arrived so punctually and the breakfast spread was fantastic, with plenty of choice.
For the price, this place is incredible value. We couldn’t fault our stay and would absolutely return. If you’re staying in Ubud, Mayaloka Villas is a must!
The only small downside was that the private pool was quite cool and didn’t get much direct sunlight during the day, so we didn’t use it as much as we would have liked.
