Lo mejor fue la ubicación, en pleno corazón de Kioto. También destacaría lo servicial que fue el personal: ante cualquier petición respondían rápidamente y siempre buscaban la forma de ayudarnos. La habitación era un poco pequeña, pero resultaba cómoda.
Como suele ocurrir con los alojamientos céntricos, uno de los inconvenientes fue el ruido nocturno. Varias noches nos costó dormir porque había gente de fiesta en la calle. Para mí, lo único que le falta al hotel para ser un 10/10 es ofrecer un buen desayuno. Aun así, volvería sin dudarlo.

The room was great. It was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was amazing and it had the best tub and shower combo. I took a bath many times and everything was perfectly clean. The staff was kind and courteous and went above and beyond for us. The hotel was in a great location to train stations, food and the city but was very quiet. We were so happy staying here.
There really wasn't anything we didn't like.

Really nice convenience. The location is great, the room layout is fine. Hotel was fine overall. I didn't hear noise even though the main street was just outside. While not very personal, it's fine if you just want a simple hotel experience - security was severely lacking though.
At check-in, the screens offer zero privacy, displaying your full passport number alongside a required video scan of your face with no explanation. Worse, your room number and 6-digit access code are shown in large text for nearby guests to see. Because that same code opens both the main hotel entrance and your room, and there’s no deadbolt in the room (just an electronic lock), anyone who sees your code can easily enter your room, day or night. If someone sees your code when entering the hotel, they can now enter your room as well.
Overall, the room feels a little cheap for the price with a lightweight bed frame that shifts when you move, and a basic modular bathroom like at budget chains like APA. Cleanliness was fine but lacking a bit, evidenced by stray long black hairs on the bed and towels.
