The house is very well presented, clean and welcoming. The location is ideal being very close to the town but in a very quiet street.
While we enjoy eating out at some of the many excellent venues in Salcombe, we also like to have meals at home. The house is well equipped for home cooking.
We greatly appreciated being notified of the ongoing renovation work in the neighbouring house. We did consider this but had no regrets about proceeding with our booking . The building workers seemed to be as considerate as could reasonably be expected.
We would suggest that the bed mattress in the front, first floor bedroom be replaced. The existing one was a little soft and lumpy.
The kitchen extractor duct requires securing to the cooker hood. The force of the fan lifts the duct away from the hood connection discharging cooking fumes into the overhead cupboard.
