Very good location, walking distance from the basilica and the bridge over the river.
Very large room and bathroom, furnished in a somewhat dated style with a certain charm.
A nice inner courtyard for sitting out (shaded and lots of plants: great in the August 2026 heatwave).
Welcoming host on site at the agreed arrival time. (Just ring the bell!)
There are grocery stores within a few minutes walk if you want to self-cater (eg breakfast).
Some equipment didn't work (one or two lights; the in-room kettle...) and it's an older building that hasn't been modernised re. electrics etc (but all was adequate and felt fairly safe).
There's a shared kitchen but the equipment was a bit disorganised and very cluttered; tangled/non-working electrical cables and other issues. However, I was able to self-cater at a basic level, with a saucepan on a hob, a kettle, a fridge...
This is Hungary: it seemed a bit expensive for what was provided; but that may reflect location and demand (Esztergom).

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt zentral. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen! Es ist sehr gepflegt, sauber und mit viel Liebe gemacht. Besonders der kleine Innenhof.
