I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Raj Palace. Rooms were clean and well maintained, basic amenities were provided and staff was polite & helpful. Location is good for travellers. Value for money hotel. Recommended 👍

Location was OK, being nearer to Railway station.
1) General upkeep of the building is not good.
2) Staff were young boys and girls, but their attitude is indifferent (I had to personally come down and get the work done for my requirements).
3) Toiletries were not provided as per standards, there was no kettle or coffee/tea tray.
4) There was no dust bin in the room. Even after complaining, it was not provided.
5) Bed linen was soiled when I checked in the room. After continuous follow up and personally chasing the boys, I could get only bed sheet changed. But the blanket cover was retained unchanged.
6) Wifi provided was very unstable... tried several times and finally gave up.
7) Late checkout was outrightly denied; but when I suggested 25% payment as per usual practice, they demanded one day's full payment for late checkout beyond 1.5 hrs.
8) There are no good restaurants close to the hotel.
9) I recommend regular checks and audits by Treebo management.
