Ridge House - Federal Hill

My room was huge, and it was considered a "smaller" room by Ridge House standards. There are only four rooms per floor, and two have private baths, so I only shared a bath with one other person. There's a large, newly remodeled kitchen on each floor, with all the basics provided, and an all-guest lounge on the first floor. Location is great, too -- in middle of the Federal Hill neighborhood, with lots of restaurants, and a ten-minute bus ride to downtown. Chad, the manager, was incredibly nice and super-helpful. I'd go back in heartbeat. ;)

Just a heads-up, and NOT a criticism -- they don't have an elevator. If stairs are an issue, say so when you book your room. I was fine with being on the third floor, but not everybody would be.

Clean, comfortable bed.

Only given one towel per guest, no hand towel or wash cloth. Bathroom counter needed something to wipe it off from other guest besides the towel I would use for my face and hands. Coffee, cream, sugar on hand would be nice.

Close to everything. Quiet.

The beds. Comfortable mattress but weak bed frames.

Quiet, large room.

Shortage of bath accessories like shampoo. Too heavy bedding for the Summer.
