Quiet and Beautiful Sacred Valley Accommodation

It was lovely to have our own villa of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Gates were always locked and the caretaker let us in at all hours. We arrived at 8pm with no food and no Spanish but with google translate app the caretaker arranged for a pizza delivery and even got change so we could pay for it. Easy 15min walk or short mototaxi ride to main square.

Great stay with a couple of caveats...

The house is spacious, grounds have beautiful flowers & a nice view of the mountains. You will see hummingbirds flying around out the kitchen windows! The caretaker Giovanna is very helpful, and is available 24/7 to let you in the property (main entrance). The beds were comfy & clean. The internet was impeccable. 2 TVs available (1 in the upstairs sitting area & 1 in the master bedroom). Laundry service available in the property is a plus.

House feels cold. We were here during June. Dogs - We were not aware of dogs being allowed off-leash in the property grounds. There were 3 dogs, and 2 of them were well behaved, while 1 of the dogs owned by a property owner was not trained properly. It was concerning that the dog would not even listen to its owners. Dog stood on chests, tried to bite hands, etc. If you have little ones, I would keep this in mind. Location - the city of Calca did not have much to do (restaurants, shops, etc). The property is not very close to the city center. Without a car, it can be tiring going back & forth a few times if you have to grab something to eat or go grocery shopping. Only mototaxis are available in this city.

Jardin et propriete magnifique. Nous avons passe 4 jours / 3 nuits: incroyable. A revenir pour mon prochain sejour et pour rester plus de temps! Une excellente (et confidentielle) adresse ppur sejourner dans la Vallee Sacree. Merci
