Das Garni-Hotel Alto da Lua befindet sich in außergewöhnlicher Lage, einsam gelegen auf einem Berg in der Nähe von Bensafrim. Von den Zimmern (groß, sauber, mit Bad) und auch vom großen Pool aus hat man eine tollen Blick über die Algarve bis hin zu den Küstenorten. Die sehr ruhige, einsame Lage (nächster Ort in > 10 km Entfernung) bedingt allerdings auch, dass sich kein Restaurant in der Nähe befindet. Das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstück war gut. Der Hotelier war ausgesprochen liebenswürdig.
Das Alto da Lua hat etwas Renovierungsstau, was uns aber nicht so sehr gestört hat, da es trotzdem sehr sauber war. Leider gab es zumindest während unseres kurzen, 1-tägigen Aufenthalts kein warmes Wasser zum Duschen.

Paesaggio meraviglioso, stupenda piscina.
Struttura non troppo curata, con potenziale di miglioramento. Wi-fi nelle stanze non disponibile, non set di cortesia nei bagni, colazione scarna.

El personal estupendo. Gonzalo es una persona super atenta y tuvo en cuenta todos los detalles. El desayuno muy bueno.

Très isolé avec un chemin pour y accéder rustique et vieillissant , manque de confort type bouilloire, frigo, climatisation , matelas , aurait besoin d être rénové
