We enjoyed seeing the limestone formations from close to the water and experiencing a quieter side of Ha Long Bay away from the main cruise route. The surroundings were beautiful, and the excursion gave us plenty of opportunities to appreciate the natural landscape. We especially liked how different the scenery looked from the water compared with the views from the ship, making the experience feel worth. Parts of the excursion involved steps and walking, which may require a little extra effort for some visitors. We would recommend wearing comfortable footwear and taking your time when exploring. Apart from that, the excursion was enjoyable, although we would have liked a little more time to take photographs and appreciate the surroundings before returning to the boat.

The combination of comfortable accommodation, beautiful scenery, and organized excursions made the trip an enjoyable part of our Vietnam holiday. We especially liked being able to admire Ha Long Bay from the water while still having plenty of opportunities to explore its famous attractions. The overall experience felt like a welcome break from our usual travel routine, and we appreciated having our main activities and meals arranged throughout the stay. Our only real disappointment was how quickly the experience came to an end. With so much beautiful scenery to enjoy and several activities included in the itinerary, one night felt rather short. We would have loved another day onboard to explore the bay at a more relaxed pace and spend additional time enjoying the facilities.

Right from the second we walked on board, Mr. Bruce Lee took care of our luggage and made the check-in super easy while explaining the whole schedule. During meals, Mr. Lucas was constantly checking on us—he remembered my partner's coffee order on day two without us even asking. And for the Sung Sot Cave trip, Mr. Johnathan was brilliant. He spent extra time sharing local stories and answering all our questions. You can tell they actually care about giving guests a great experience. The main downside was having to leave so soon—a one-night stay is definitely not enough to enjoy everything on board.

The food was not good at all, and the cruise was not moving—it was static at the very beginning of Ha Long Bay.
