Disappointing and very embarrassing that i did not scrutinise the other reviews before booking
Very Disappointing – Avoid This Property
This was an extremely disappointing stay. My wife usually handles our travel arrangements, but on this occasion I booked the accommodation and unfortunately did not read the reviews beforehand — a mistake I regret.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear the property was poorly maintained. The driveway was overgrown with weeds, and there was junk piled in one corner. Inside, the kitchen cupboards contained half-eaten food items, including crisps and butter wrappers left by previous guests. The main bin had not been emptied, which added to the initial impression of neglect.
More seriously, the bedroom had a broken window latch, making it impossible to ventilate the room during a particularly hot weekend. Even more concerning, the gas boiler was installed in the bedroom — a potential safety hazard that had already been mentioned in a review from May, yet clearly had not been addressed.
The shower was dangerously faulty, with the control malfunctioning and producing scalding hot water, rendering it unusable. Additionally, the garden door could not be locked, meaning the property was not secure when we left — another unacceptable issue.
Overall, this stay fell far below acceptable standards. The property was not clean, not safe, and not secure. It is deeply concerning that accommodation in this condition is being rented out at premium rates. This kind of neglect undermines the credibility of platforms like Booking.com and responsible hosts who maintain their properties properly.

The property was not cleaned for a long time dust everywhere, floor was dirty, facilities not working, window was broken so I couldn’t close it, the tap in the bathroom was not working properly, quite disappointed.

Booked for a wekk for 3 staff members, only one stayed for one night it is that bad.
Nothing- Totally filthy and disgusting, 2 left and did not even stay a night, one stayed for one night and left the next moring
Totally filtyh, Stained bed sheets, Thick Dust, smells of damp and nothing like advertised.
