The location and historical atmosphere. Patty was very helpful. We enjoyed the casualness and easy accommodations of everything. Rachel was a great bartender!
The restaurant and basement bar were not open, which was very disappointing.

The Audubon Hotel is right downtown, great location. Perfect to walk and visit all the shops and museums, eating places, bars etc. The whole downtown is within walking distance. Audubon's restaurant and bar was great. Their Beer Garden outside across the street with live music was great as well. They also have the Midnight Slip there on the basement level that hosts concerts, comedy club events, liquor tasting events etc.
Price. 2 nights was $500. There are only 7 rooms on the 2nd floor of this hotel, we were the only ones staying there so we got the best room, but no way worth $250/night. We stayed there for Labor Day weekend. There were no events happening at all, hotel and restaurant/bar was closed on Sunday, the whole town shut down on Sunday. Had to use a key code to get into the hotel on Sunday, we were the only 2 people in the entire building, kinda freaky!
