We were a multi-generational family group aged from 17 to 84.
This villa is in an exceptional location (car a must) and is really spacious with large bedrooms, living spaces and outdoor areas. Although the pool is quite small, it is perfect for cooling off and relaxing in, and with a shallow end perfect for younger children. You also have access to the shared pool down the hill. We did quite a bit of home cooking and the kitchen is really well appointed with everything you need - masses of plates, glasses and utensils etc. Plenty of decent towels for inside and out were provided. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived and communication and key pickup was straightforward. Beds were comfortable and Aircon in bedrooms was efficient. We didn't use the Aircon in the living area as you can get a nice breeze through the house. Having a washing machine was a bonus. Pool was maintained often during our stay. The owners/management were at the end of the phone and the information provided was good. It's in a wonderfully quiet location with stunning views. Plenty of places to eat in Salobrena and surrounding towns. Beaches were busy (no surprise as it was peak season) and parking sometimes a bit tricky in town. Recommend the easypark app to pay for parking in the blue zone.
All in all, we had a super relaxing stay!
The dishwasher could probably do with replacing, as although it worked, some racks were broken and rusting. We used the BBQ a few times, which also could do with an upgrade, although it worked ok for us. I think one of the taps in the shared bathroom downstairs was faulty, but there were 2 sinks so not really an issue.
As with all large villas in the mountains, there are open staircases inside and out, so this might be a concern for people with very small children or those with limited mobility.
