highly recommend this apartment! It’s in a great, lively and modern neighbourhood of Istanbul, full of cafés and restaurants and very well connected, but at the same time tucked away enough to feel peaceful.
The view from the 5th floor is truly breathtaking - you can enjoy it straight from the sofa. For me, the apartment became a little oasis after long days running around Istanbul. I always felt so cozy, comfortable and at home there. There’s something about looking far into the distance that really lets your mind rest and reset.
The apartment itself is compact but very comfortable and has everything you need. You do have to walk up to the 5th floor with no elevator, so it’s good to know before booking - but if you’re reasonably fit and healthy, it really isn’t that much of an effort.
And Ozan is a wonderful host! Very kind, helpful and easy to communicate with. He welcomed me personally and even helped me carry my luggage both up and down the stairs.
I would absolutely recommend both the apartment and Ozan as a host. I felt really good there and would happily come back.

The views and location.
The stairs are tiresome for two late sixties but we got used to them.

Although it is 70 steep steps to reach the apartment, it is well worth the climb.
Wonderful, compact, well planned residence at the top of the building.
The Kaktus Restaurant/Café/Bar below is wonderful, Interesting neighbourhood.
About 50 minutes walk to the main touristy parts across the Galata Bridge, much quicker by public transport.
