The manager and his wife and a guy doing some work there were really helpful and the manager himself did a really good job, being around, visible and generally very welcoming.
As an observation… get the signs on the front ( the previous names been painted out) either finished or replaced with the Hotel Sofia name to make it stand out more would in my opinion enhance an otherwise drab sign and raise its standing on the street. The little sign above the entrance door is likely to be easily missed (too small and black) especially as darker nights arrive as nice as it is.

All very nice, clean and tidy and owners allowed me to stay in family room ground floor as I booked 2 different dates following each other. Owners were very kind, welcoming. Very basic but price was ok.
Not quite photos that were taken but just somewhere to put head down.
