L'appartamento è magnifico. Ben ristrutturato e moderno, sebbene in un vecchio palazzo non molto allettante a prima vista. C'è tutto quello che si puo' sperare per le prime necessità e anche per una rapida colazione. I dintorni sono molto simpatici, nel centro della vecchia città a due passi dalla bella cattedrale dell'XI secolo e con bella vista sul mare. Il gestore Luca è molto gentile e efficace. Ci ha dato molto consigli utili.
Non vedo proprio cosa si puo' sperare di più. L'unica cosa da tener conto è che l'appartamento si trova in alto nella vecchia città ed è assai arduo di arrivarci se si va a piedi, venendo ad esempio dalla stazione ferroviaria, con bagagli pesanti (come è stato il mio caso). Si deve pero' sapere che si puo' prendere un ascensore in mezzo al tunnel che va verso il porticello. Sarebbe utile che il gestore manda questa informazione ai clienti prioma del loro arrivo.

De ruimte en de goede uitrusting van het appartement.
De bereikbaarheid en de vindbaarheid waren echt lastig. Duidelijker aangeven dat je helemaal beneden bij de haven moet parkeren en dat we halverwege tunnel een lift omhoog is. Parkeren is duur! Wij betaalden voor 24 uur € 48,-

Very good location in general (in the old town)
Located directly above a popular par and several benches where people hang out and smoke (draft goes directly into the window when open).
AC is not powerful enough to cool the whole place especially not in the bed area (where it is needed most)
Bathroom smelled musty and damp.
Bed cover and pillows were slightly smelly.
A proper description of how to find the place would have been helpful. “At the garage there is an elevator that takes you straight to the place” is simply not correct. Since the town of Ventimiglia also doesn’t put up any signs explaining that halfway through a shady looking tunnel there is in fact said elevator, if really would have been useful to have your host describe this.
Communication was slow and not very helpful:
- answers to questions before arrival came very very late and contained bad advice( he recommended an extremely expensive parking garage although parking in the street is largely available and free
- bumpy checkin: made me wait 1/2 hour in front of the door although I gave plenty of notice as agreed, and finally he sent his dad and didn’t even show up himself. Dad was not terribly forthcoming :(
- the phone number in the profile does not exist (anymore?), and I had to beg the dad to give me a number for emergencies which he quite reluctantly did
