Location and price was outstanding. Unit was clean and, for the most part, had plenty of storage. Fridge was clean and ice made, no ants or bugs. Bed was very comfortable and loved the assigned parking space
The patio screen door needs adjustment, going in and out the screen door was a issue keeping it from going off the tracks or getting stuck. We could not get the other screen door to open. We would have appreciated it if the cabinet in the hall to bedroom would have been empty or at least putting cleaning products on lower shelf so it could be used for clothing since there was no dresser. We did move things around in there to make the cabinet useful. Living room furniture was semi-comfortable. Also, there was no specific instructions notifying owner of check out. I sent check out info through booking.com and sent an email confirming check out since there was a charge for late check out. I did not receive any confirmation/response from owner. Minor stuff.

For our Three-Night Stay: As advertised: Location was beautiful, right on the ocean over the Strand in Redondo Beach. Hearing the ocean is so comforting and peaceful! The view is spectacular :)
The windows were spotless so we could enjoy the view even when it was too cold/windy to open them. Very walkable area, near (but not too near) the Pier. We loved being able to walk out the gate and having the Strand just steps away. Good Communication: The owner was very responsive and patient with us, we appreciated his help very much! Easy access once we got the keys straightened out. We love that there is an elevator. Feels very safe, was absent of unpleasant noises. Love having a kitchen to prepare breakfast and drinking morning coffee on the lanai. The bed was small (full size) but very comfortable. Furnishings were well placed and comfortable. The apartment is playfully and tastefully furnished :). Instructions and information were clearly posted and easy to understand (i.e, check-in, check-out, nearby stores, etc.)
Getting the keys was a bit of a fiasco. The first lockbox was empty. We had to call the owner (who was very patient and nice about the whole thing), the second box was not easy to find (until we found it.). Had to sit on a step to get into the box. It was at floor/step level and not easily accessible for anyone who might have issues kneeling or bending. Getting the keys to fit back into the box was frustrating as we had problems due to size and awkwardness. I am glad we checked-in before dark. The keychain consisted of the auto gate opener, and two keys - one to the garage and one to the apartment. At check-out it was a bit of a struggle to arrange them all in the lockbox and trying to close it. (It might be easier and more convenient for customers to leave them in the room and let housekeeping put them back?). Again, I appreciated the owner's help. The only other suggestion I would have is to put a 4-6 drawer dresser in the bedroom (maybe under the TV or next to the bed by the closet) and a luggage rack for suitcases. We had no place to unpack our belongings except for those things we had to hang up. We used the living room furniture to live out of our suitcases for our 3 night stay. An alternative to a dresser would be shelves on one side of the closet or free up space in the storage shelves across from the bathroom door.
