Nice and cosy villa, with a very comfortable bed and amazing host. Although the location was about a 20 minute walk into town, the host would drive/ arrange a tuk-tuk whenever you needed. Breakfast was also delicious

My wife and I had a really nice experience staying at 3 Arch Villa, Ella. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The villa is located in a very calm, peaceful, and relaxing environment, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The villa is approximately 1.5 km from Ella town and around 1.5 km from Ella Railway Station, making it convenient to explore the area. Kubalwela Mahamevnawa is also around 7 km away.
The villa owner was extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming, and provided us with excellent service throughout our stay. We truly appreciated the hospitality and personal attention.
Breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. We enjoyed delicious hoppers, egg hoppers, sliced bread, fresh cut fruits, and a lovely cup of tea. Everything was fresh, tasty, and prepared with care.
If you are planning to visit Ella and looking for a peaceful, comfortable, affordable, and good-quality place to stay, we highly recommend 3 Arch Villa Ella.

We had a great stay here. The rooms are basic but clean and have everything you need. The highlight was the host, who was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was generous and delicious and he was always available to assist us when needed. The villa is well located between town and the 9 arch bridge, easily accessed via the tracks. I would recommend to anyone coming to Ella and looking for a peaceful stay.

Located in a pretty part of Ella. The host was very helpful, due to the location of the property, no restaurants or attractions were walkable so he worked hard to sort tuktuk journeys for us as PickMe was not an option. He was very attentive via WhatsApp.
Rooms were basic and although appeared clean on arrival we quickly learnt how damp and smelly the room and especially the bathroom were. We found both slugs and snails in the bathroom plus a variety of other bugs. Some bugs would be expected in the jungle area but not to this extent. We also found our clothes which were hung up felt damp when we woke up in the morning.
The rooms lacked much space to place items off the floor e.g. only one bedside table.
Overall the rooms were cheap so we weren’t expecting luxury. Some air conditioning in the room would help with the heat and damp as the fam didn’t do much. Would look to stay somewhere closer to the centre of Ella to reduce reliance on the host providing transport several times a day.
