Disaster
Host gave us address to a different property without notifying us first and thought it would be OK because "it was in the same area". I then had to wait 3 days to get my damage deposit back and am still waiting for a refund through Booking.com. We were left to then find, book and travel to a hotel and ended up missing dinner with friends.

Horrendous. I don't know how booking.com can promote this property
Sadly, I'm sorry to say, 'nothing' we were extremely disappointed and are seeking a refund
Everything ...
The host was very communicative pre stay, helpful with parking queries etc that I had, but from the day of arrival, it was nothing short of terrible.
The apartment is hugely overpriced and most of all has many safety issues.
In the day of arrival and not long before the checkin, we received a notification to advise us that we would only be able to access the property if we paid a £150 security deposit, which was never advise previously, even though the host had been communicating... not impressed, as this notification cane in whilst I was driving to London, leaving us NO IDEA where to find the home and were left waiting for the information. I paid the £150 but still nothing came through, so I had to call and chase the host for the information. When we finally received the information, sometime after the checkin time, we had to wait a further 45 mins as the lock box code shared was not correct, so we were left outside sitting on the steps of the property, desperately needing the bathroom and not at all able to reach the host after multiple messages and hosts.
We finally managed to get into the property, I believe around4.45pm and were extremely disappointed from there on from exposed plug sockets, to multiple door handles (compromising access / exit from rooms) ... the list is long, so I have taken photos to share with you.
As a loyal customer to booking.com, I use you as a trusted provider and feel very let down on this occasion... I do not believe this property could have been inspected prior to becoming part of your platform.
I wish for an agent to call me so I can share the extent of our experience, and am requesting an immediate refund of the ransom to enter £150 security deposit, and a full refund on our stay.
