We mainly booked this place for the large enclosed area for our dogs, which has been great! However, there was a large gap below the entrance gate which our dogs could easily escape from, so we needed to stand there to stop them.
Scratched Teflon cooking pans. It would be good to have some steel pans. We bought some from the shop to use.
There was some shooting near by on the Saturday which spooked our dog (not the owners fault, but something to be aware of if you have scared dogs).

Outstanding area outside of the hut. Very peaceful
Needs some updating . Some china chipped, odd glasses, bed linen not matching. On arrival at site advised Oven had broken down the night before our arrival. New oven arrived that day but would not fit into unit. Oven placed on worktop as temporary measure.Advised carpenter would arrive following day to fit. Replacement unable to be fitted into unit as too big. Placed on top of worktop. No contact from owner regarding this would have appreciated a courtesy call

Really lovely place to stay! Ample garden space and really secure setting. Lovely and clean with great facilities. Great location for getting around the local area, but still felt tucked out of the way and peaceful. Coffee machine was a really nice touch.
Had a little trouble locking the door which I think this was due to the hot weather and the wood swelling. Felt very safe and secure in the setting.
