Casa Aroeira was a great stay. It is located in a quiet area in Aroeira, it provides two levels with one small living/ktichen area and a larger bathroom/bedroom combination. The hosts were super welcoming and explained everything to us, all was super clean and the bed was very comfortable.

How close it was to the beach, restaurants and shops.
Our stay at this property was unfortunately not up to expectations. It’s important to note that the house is essentially a converted garage, which greatly affects sound insulation — you can hear everything, including any noise from neighbouring. Regrettably, we were quite unlucky to have very noisy neighbours during our visit. 2 nights of loud music until 3:30am and the other nights with dogs barking over night
Additionally, the bathroom layout was less than ideal. Considering there’s no door separating the bedroom to the bathroom The toilet is very close to the bed and no privacy if you are sharing the house with someone…
