It's an ideal getaway from the dreaded heat of the city. Most beaches close to Metro Manila are either congested already or the waters are a bit off, with noisy crowds to boot. If you do not mind the long drive, you will appreciate the resort's setting among fishing folks who also offer bargain prices for their first catch. My kids also enjoyed the sights, so the long drive was actually part of the fun.
Just keep your expectations to match the resort class, so you will not find anything to complain about. The rooms are clean, the kitchen is adequate for family cooking, the central entertainment space is good without getting in the way of other visitors, and the water heating is well-maintained. The two people—couple, actually—maintaining the whole place are also always on hand with a friendly smile.
