This was a Family trip to Story Land, the house was located close to the park and essential amenities.
The house was pet friendly. The carpets had stains and had a lived in feeling. We were able to relax and not stress out about ruining anything. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, it was small and did not reach a high temperature, although not optimal for adults, the kids enjoyed it greatly.
The property needed upgrades, the deck was very weathered, the grounds surrounding the fire pit were not mowed. We had to treat wasp nests located under the deck by the front door and behind the hot tub. The hot tub was very small and did not reach a high temperature. The first floor, bedrooms and bathroom were extremely damp, the bathroom needs attention to the shower area as there appears to be a mold smell.
The kitchen could use some upgrades specifically to the cooking pans. We cooked most meals at the house and it was very challenging using mismatched pans, specifically lacking a normal sized frying pan. I had to cook most items, in small batches, in a wok.
There were items found behind the couch cushions, personal items of either renters before us or the owners. There was no AC, I likely would have canceled the booking. Had I known this. I assumed there was AC until I received the instructions to the house. Although, I may have missed this when booking. Someone came and removed trash from the house, Barb said it is written in the instructions that this would happen, I did not see that anywhere. Making the renters aware would be helpful.
