Amazing surroundings, good size rooms and very comfortable beds. Open kitchen with great view. Good location, not far from main attractions. Good hosts and cleaning service.
Main drawback is the transport. This villa do not have catering. Unless you rent a bike or car, you are stuck with villa provided car at extra cost, its not very expensive but for a week cost can go overboard. Kitchen utensils are very basic and when asked for more pans, it was straight no as per villa policy. Which is unacceptable, especially when they don't have own catering and nothing is near by (walkable) to eat.

The villa was beautiful. The bedrooms were spacious, light and clean. Beautiful pool and outlook over the forest and rice paddies.
The villa was cleaned daily and the host was very helpful and accommodating.
Quiet and secluded. It is about a 25- 30 minute drive into Ubud, so a little way away from the activity of town, but easy enough to get there with a Grab or Gogek. Close to Tegalalang, river rafting and ATV activities.
There is nowhere to comfortably sit and relax. The daybed upstairs is very upright and uncomfortable. To be able to relax only one of us could use it, by lying down. Even then, it is pretty firm. There are sunloungers near the pool, but there is no lounge or armchairs. A major oversight. The bedrooms are large enough to put comfy armchairs or lounge in. We found overselves spending a lot of time sitting at the kitchen table, for lack of anywhere else to sit during the day.
The equipment in the kitchen is pretty basic. The cooking utensils included cutlery and one small egg flip. At least add some tongs to the kit. No wine glasses, no biggie, but would be nice.
No full length mirror - essential for the ladies to check outfits!🙂

Clean, well looked after, secluded, lots of privacy in pool & rooms. Rooms had great views out to the forest, you feel very connected to nature. Can hear all the animals throughout the day. Very friendly attentive staff, great with communication. Helped me with finding my grab driver when he turned up in an unexpected place. Got up very early on our last day to make sure we had help with our luggage - could not ask for better service. Massage was also lovely, very relaxing listening to sounds of running water and birds in a semi outdoor setting.
If you’re sensitive to sounds of dogs barking & cockerels bring earplugs.
There is no food onsite but they can arrange breakfast if you give them notice. We had a fridge and kitchen so could have technically made something ourselves but we just got a grab to a nearby place 10 mins away for wonderful brunch
