Location was good on the small side but overall it was good for our needs. There is a number of restaurants convenience stores and groceries in the area to make it easy to live while you're there also some drug stores if you need medications or whatever if you became sick while visiting.
There's a local train station and Subway station right there within two very short blocks can be walked within less than 5 minutes. The Subway one has escalators going down but the JR line station this end only has stairs so if you want an elevator to get up to the platforms you do have to walk to the other end of the station but that's not a big big issue if you're okay with stairs cuz the stairs are right close by and this will get you onto the solo line which will take you over to Shinjuku and Akihabara and then the Subway line will take you down to Tokyo station area not the station itself but nearby or North to Asakusa. Also at Akihabara station you can transfer to the Yamanote line which is a circuit line of Tokyo and makes a clockwise or counterclockwise circuit of Tokyo going to Tokyo station Shibuya shinagawa Shinjuku ikebukuro and ueno are the major stations on that line.
If you are there for sumo wrestling it is one train station away on the jail line to Ryogoki station where the arena is for sumo tournaments in January, May and September.
While we were aware of this before we arrived we would probably look for a different unit next time same company's okay but just a different unit because this unit is a walk up which for my wife is really hard and even for myself was hard but we made it for the month that we were here but for us we would look for a elevator apartment next time that's the one drawback other than that pretty good.
Also they do market it as a four-person apartment but realistically I think two is realistically the max as it is a small apartment but perfect for two people who don't mind little exercise in our case we were on the fourth floor so we had four flights to go up.
While this is not a negative just make note that if you do rent any apartment in Tokyo or maybe in Japan make sure when you go in you see if there's a water heater adjustment because it's sometimes just turned off when it's unoccupied so you need to turn on this unit is fine it had just had a simple three button panel you push the button on and then you adjust the temperature up or down so just be aware that you're going to have cold water until you turn that on and then it takes a few minutes to warm up but that's not a negative that's a word to the wise
