What I loved most about the property was how beautifully it has been designed and refurbished. There is incredible attention to detail throughout, and I really appreciated the architecture, the choice of materials, the furniture, and the colors. Everything feels very thoughtfully put together.
The location is also wonderful. Away from the typical tourist areas, which was perfect for us. We prefer quieter, more authentic places rather than busy tourist attractions, so this felt like an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
The main downside for us was that the place felt much more suitable for a couple than for a family. It is quite small, and in our opinion, four people would be the absolute maximum.
More importantly, the house is beautifully furnished, with gorgeous ceramics, delicate glassware, lovely floors and wooden furniture, but everything feels quite fragile. With children, we found ourselves worrying a lot about accidentally breaking or damaging something instead of fully relaxing. The kitchen also seemed to be missing a few practical basics for preparing a family breakfast.
Overall, it feels better suited to a quiet weekend retreat for a couple than to travelers with children. Unfortunately, this made us enjoy an otherwise beautiful place a little less than it deserves.
