WellClub Resort - Suites & Wellness

The location is perfect, right in the middle of Paphos and close to everything. The rooms are new, modern, and very clean. Breakfast was good, and the view was amazing. What really makes us come back to this hotel again and again, more than anything else, is the wonderful lady from Guest Relations, Rafaella. She is always there whenever you need anything, ready to help without hesitation. She is always smiling, professional, and genuinely does her best to make your stay comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable.

The pool is a little small, and unfortunately, there is no room service.

The hotel is gorgeous and well maintained, the staff is very welcoming and very service oriented. The rooms are big, beautiful and very Clean.

The only thing which wasn't excellent was the food temperature served at Saturday evening dinner.

The only good thing is the room which is spacious, clean, modern and great facilities such as a wide balcony and aircon.

We came to Cyprus and instead felt like we came to Israel. This is a kosher hotel which follows their food rules and shabbat rules, for example the breakfast is advertised as being Mediterranean but it’s not (we did not see a single slice of ham cos it’s not kosher) and cooking was not allowed on Shabbat (Saturday) meaning even the bread toaster was off that day. I wish the advertising was more clear as we would’ve definitely preferred to stay at a different hotel and experience full Mediterranean/cypriot food and vibes. At the pool, the food they serve is basic (again kosher so expect only vegetarian pizzas) and no music on Saturday (probably not allowed on Shabbat). Hotel is far from the main harbour (1 hour walk in the heat with no shade) and taxis are overpriced at reception (they tell you a fixed price, then the driver tells you more once you get in). Better to use bolt or cabcy apps or rent a car. The nearest best beach is Venus, around 20-30 mins walk, again through the heat and no shade. Be aware though, if you want a room with sea view, you will be taken at the top of the hill where you have to go up a lot of stairs. There are also 2 lifts you can take but there is still a lot of walking and other stairs just to get to your room. Sorry but we do not recommend this place unless of course you are Israeli or Jewish.
