It was spacious, modern with great appliances and accessible, with lovely bird life and country views to cows and mountains. Overall it was quiet, semi private and decent. We were in the area for work so the internet turned out great and the setting was perfect.
The bright spotlight removing all night sky from the backyard was a sad realisation. Country retreats are special because of the night sky as well as the views.
For the price we paid we were expecting a bit of milk in the fridge (every motel/hotel /retreat we’ve been to had basic coffee facilities) even long life would have been good.
There were printed signs threatening to fine people and monitoring the length of showers to up to 3 minutes.
I’m a short shower person regardless but mate, you charge $332 a night, you can’t put those signs up, upgrade your property water storage or charge less. Reading those signs felt a little insulting, people pay in good faith and there are ways and ways to warn about water restrictions, that wasn’t a good one.

Great location for our event. Spacious and full sized fridge and a fantastic view! Also lots of nice little homely touches
For two bedrooms (4 people) the couch could be bigger… was only just big enough for my dad to sit on and watch football.
