That we could book for two nights.
The lodge was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Also it had lamps.
Loved the location. Hot tub.
No staff on site/reception.

Beautiful location, gorgeous lodge it was very clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was nice and relaxing.
We would return.
Only two hand towels and we were a party of three, but didn't spoil our weekend.
A gap in the front door at the top made a noise when you opened and closed it, did not spoil the weekend, but does need fixing.
No book with instructions about the Lodge, where to put rubbish, how to use the oven, hot tub, etc.
The returned deposit of two hundred pounds should have been mentioned when we booked and paid for the lodge instead of getting an email a couple of days before we arrived, I only checked my emails the day when we were travelling and got a shock when we seen the email, stress which could have been avoided.

Confirmation didn’t give us the lodge number, just the name Cuckoo lodge. This isn’t shown anywhere on the lodge nor were we given the lodge number which make it challenging to find. No staff on site and poor signal made for a very frustrating check-in. Not to mention the lockbox code then being incorrect. Far from ideal when travelling with children.
The lodge itself was beautiful inside however sofas and double bed very uncomfortable. No handwash in en suite and no toiletries or basics like salt in the kitchen.
Very noisy from the road behind and the main bedroom/en suite were very cold despite the heating being on.
Hot tub was warm and temp wouldn’t increase despite our efforts.
Front door has a gap at the top which looses heat.
We were given late checkout due to the isssue checking in which was gratefully received.
