We enjoyed our stay here. Great situated near the airport, bus and harbour. Never expected it was only a 20 minutes walk to the airport. Only 8 minutes walk to the nearest busstop to Torshavn bus 300. And a nice walk to the harbour for a great boattrip. The landlord was most helpful in every possible way. The neighbours were super nice, friendly and helpful. The house was clean, nice rooms and provided us with all facilities needed for our 4 days stay.

Nahe am Flughafen gelegen, wir sind sogar zu Fuß dort hin um den Mietwagen abzuholen. Geräumige Wohnung mit solider Ausstattung.
Bezahlung nur vor Ort in bar (Umschlag in den Briefkasten) und dänische Kronen war für uns sehr unglücklich. Das steht zwar in den Buchungshinweisen, aber es war für uns trotzdem umständlich das Bargeld/die Währung vor Ort zu beschaffen/wechseln zu lassen. Da Wochenende war, hatte auch die Bank nicht mehr geöffnet und es wurden Gebühren verlangt. Im Jahr 2026 sollte eine reguläre Überweisung oder Zahlung per Kreditkarte als Option möglich sein, noch dazu wenn Gäste aus anderen Währungsregionen kommen und eine Buchung online über booking erfolgt ist.

The location was super quiet and close enough to the town centre to walk.
Parking is on the street which was relatively narrow but it was ok as the street was quiet and the car was safe. The family stays on the floor above but their garden is backs up onto the window of the main bedroom. For privacy, the blinds had to be kept close all the time. There was no washing machine and although this was not one of the facilities mentioned on Booking.com site, the property would have benefitted from one. The hob didn't work properly and should probably have been checked. The single bedroom did not appear to have sufficient heating and was cold compared to the rest of the building.

On-site parking was actually road parking, so advert a but misleading.
