Beautiful secluded escape.

Beautiful house, spacious and spotless. Secluded grounds with kangaroos grazing all around. Perfect for large family groups.

Bit chilly for a winter stay without any extra heating apart from the open fire.

Beautiful property, extremely disappointing experience

Nice house and location

Unfortunately our experience here was extremely disappointing, especially given this was booked for my 30th birthday weekend. After a 4 hour drive, we arrived to find the property had no running water at all, including taps, showers and toilets. We then spent over 2 hours troubleshooting the issue ourselves over the phone with the property manager, including going outside in the rain to test systems around the property, rather than having someone attend onsite. The issue was not resolved until around 9:30am the following morning, meaning 6 guests were left overnight without functioning bathroom facilities and had to leave the property multiple times to access toilets, showers and purchase bottled water. The heating also did not function during the stay. While issues can happen, the most disappointing part was the lack of urgency, communication and accountability throughout the process. Despite the severity of the issue, there was no meaningful apology or resolution offered by the property directly. The property itself is beautiful, however the overall experience unfortunately fell far below expectations for the price point.

Loved our stay at Hundred Acre Woodland Retreat and we’re looking forward to staying again in the future.

The property was exceptional- very comfortable, clean and very well kitted out with everything you could need- we appreciated how well the kitchen was stocked with things like platters, cling wrap and lots of utensils- often things you miss staying in another property. The outdoor area was fabulous and our 5 year old loved the play equipment, many hours spent exploring! Locations was secluded and peaceful while still only being 15-20 minutes from both Dunsborough and Margaret River.
